Where the Turf Meets the Surf!
This was our 2nd time to go to the neighborhood horse racetrack at Del Mar.

There was a microbrew fest going on, so we enjoyed several samples of San Diego's finest (and not so finest) beers. Anthony also placed his first bet. He spent a good deal trying to decipher the betting process and the odds associated with each horse. I guess we didn't figure it out as we thought because he placed a bet on a horse with 19:1 odds. (For those that don't know...that bad). I think our horse came in second to last....or maybe it was last. We learned our lesson and left with our pockets a little less lighter. There goes half a tank of gas for next week!! =o) j/k
