It's Time for Another Wedding...(not mine =o)

On the weekend of 9 Sept, I was lucky and happy to be involved in a couple of things this special weekend.

1. I was honored and privileged to part of Jen's wedding. It had been 5 years since I saw her but our friendship never did diminished even if our phone calls did. (Sorry!!)

2. I got to return to Alaska even if I did see it through a haze of a very busy brief stay. For a year, I was living life in Fairbanks, AK and I've been dying to return to Alaska. It's completely outside of this world and the lightening fast reality of daily American life. I love the country and atmosphere. It's a breathe of real fresh air.

Side note: If anyone ever tells you that planning a wedding is "fun", it's because someone else planned their entire wedding. It's stressful and at times painful and your relationships between your family, friends and fiance is constantly tested. But come the day of your wedding, when you can finally gaze lovingly at your new husband and sip that champagne, nothing else seems have been worth all those sweat and tears and you'll look back with fond memories and wise advise for your own friends who might go through that experience.

Jen and Daniel's Wedding:
It was such a beautiful wedding. All the venues were scenic and really captured their special day. The reception site was at a museum which I loved because it gave me a chance to escape from dancing since Anthony was not able to make the trip with me and I got to stare at great Alaskan art. (Anthony went to visit his cousin in LA while I ventured to the Alaska.)

Jen was a magnificantly gorgeous bride and she was working her pictures with the photographer.

Don't eat too much sand in the sandbox. Come home safe.**
