=o)
So the last week has been a blur. I'm beginning to think the next four years might be one big blur! Actually, I meet so many great people in my class (not to mention those in other classes as well). Too bad I can't remember everyone's name. Guess I'll be referring to Facebook throughout the first module. I wish I could have gone out and done more socializing but I was one of those people in our class who had to either study or finish homework for my MPH. Kind of sad, really. I can tell you though, by Friday night, several of us gave up on our epi proposal and just had a good time drinking and dancing.

Homeownership!
Since our house was brand new, we had to buy and install our own blinds. That was an afternoon of fun! (uh, not). It did feel good to add that essential component with our own two hands. But it was a pain in the butt!!

Thanks to both our parents and Sarah for your help, patience and support while Anthony and I got more tired and frustrated and just wanted to get some to eat and go to bed!! hahaha. Thanks everyone!

Our First New Home!!
After long hours of frustration and anxiety, we finally closed on our brand new house today at 1230!!! Now it's time for the move-in but we have a house!!!!!!!

P.S. I had a fantastic experience with my realtor. She worked extremely close with to find exactly what we wanted. She was soooo informative and let us know the ins and outs of the process and housing. Not to mention, she will fight tooth and nail for what we wanted and in dealing with the builders and finance offices with KB and Countrywide Mortgage. So, if you need a great realtor, contact Zilkia Olmeda-Martins. She works for Coldwell Banker, D'Ann Harper Realtors.

P.S.S. On a less lighter note, I would never recommend working with KB Home and Countrywide Mortgage. Poor poor poor communication and they were shelling out veiled threats trying to get us to close. It was horrible experience overall working with them. The only exception was our superintendent, Kelley (when we were able to finally figure out who it was). He worked to get everything we requested for the house complete and a little extra.
