4th of July at La Jolla

Along with a third of San Diego, we decided to spend the day in beautiful La Jolla shopping and enjoyed the fireworks. It's a slow placed highly prized area where you can enjoy boutique shopping or the scenic walk along the shoreline. Since it was a holiday outing, the crowd was out in wild proportions. Some even brought ropes and stakes to cordon off their little piece of green as prime lawn real estate was a must to enjoy the harbor fireworks.

Don't forget to stop by and view the

Harbor Seals that lounge along a small stretch of beach. But please enjoy them from afar, as not to disturb their habitat. We want to preserve, not destroy.

Anthony bought me a nifty hat to preserve my face from the sun for another ten years. =o)
