In Hawaii, Suckas! - Day 1
So, after a crazy few days trying to get the car pick-up arranged for Anthony's car, we finally had to have one of my friends so it for us but the Jack#@! driver kept giving us the run around and he didn't make it into San Diego before we left. Thankfully, by the time we touched down in Honolulu, Kristin, left me a message saying after three hours of him BSing her, she finally was able to get the car to him. THANKS, KRISTI!!! We owe you!!
OK, after an uneventful flight, we touched down in sunny Hawaii where I finally got to see my sister. (It's been too long!). She's looks fabulous as usual!!! And this is what I look like after 10 hours of total travel. Ewww!
We got to our hotel, The Imperial. Don't let the name fool you. It ain't that great but hey, it's a bed in the middle of Waikiki and it's a great price since we're doing a timeshare exchange.
So after dropping off our luggage, we headed out for a little walking tour of Waikiki.
After getting a taste of Waikiki, Sarah headed off her own direction and relaxed in our room for a bit before getting dinner.
Dinner at the Yard House. I had this great beer mix. SOOOO yummy. Some chocolate stout and fruit beer.
Of course, we had to walk off the food afterwards. A nice small park area.
Planet Hollywood hand prints. Some of those people had BIG hands....like Sigourney Weaver. Man hands!!
